The Rapid Fire Unit fit between the control pad port and the control pad. When installed it will give you the option of rapid fire on either buttons 1 or 2, or both, via two small selector switches. As it fits between the port and pad, it should work fine on any other games system that uses a 9 pin joystick connector (Amiga, Atari etc) but I have not personally tried it.
