Below is information on modifying the Master System to 50/60Hz switchable. This will enable US owners to achieve full import compatability, and UK owners can run thier consoles at full screen, full speed.
You will however need to use your Master System on a SCART TV , with the Master System outputting through the AV socket. If you do not have an AV/SCART lead then Megadrive ones will work okay on it, or you could make your own using the pinouts below. The Master System II does not unfortunatly have an AV output.
